Proposal Writing

With the beautiful Hudson River in the background, Pat enjoys the final minutes of the Clearwater Festival in Croton, NY, which raises funds for cleaning up the River and was founded by Pete Seeger.

PRQuickhelp Consulting can assist with applications for funding from family foundations, corporate foundations, private foundations and local, state and federal government sources.  Working in collaboration with development staff and the program staff responsible for funded projects results in better proposals.  Pat can work with you off site or on site to develop generic or specific proposals, depending on your nonprofit’s development strategies.   If you would like to explore the likelihood that your idea is a good fit with a particular opportunity, Pat can discuss this with you over the phone.  She can also research foundations that are a potential match with your agency and/or programs.

Many of Pat’s clients have an ongoing relationship with her to develop proposals as needed.  Once the time is invested in getting to know your agency, staff, mission, and programs, proposal writing becomes a bit faster.

Proposal  writing clients have included HIAS, The Business Center for New Americans, Ocean Health Initiatives, St. Francis Medical Center,  The March of Dimes, North Ward Center, 180 Turning Lives Around, Heartsong, St. Christopher’s Inn, The Support Center for Nonprofit Management,  Hospice and Palliative Care of Westchester, My Sister's Place, and GALLOPNYC.

The cost of proposal writing services is hourly, and ranges from $60.00 to $100.00 per hour.

" After lots of waiting, we recently found out that the proposal you helped me with was successful, and we were refunded!  This funding is extremely imortant to our program; if we didn't get refunded, we may have had to make significant cuts and we were very concerned.  Thanks again for all of the time, patience, and energy you put into heping me with this, and for all of your support and encouragement to me as a new grant writer."
